This first-ever Stumptown Coffee shop was long overdue for an update when MADE was approached to take on this project. Size limitations and heavy roasting equipment were obstacles to work with in this remodeling project, and we wanted to honor the coffee shop’s humble beginnings. Custom-cut Oregon white oak veneer is flanked with blackened steel and brass detailing. We also designed and fabricated custom steel coffee pails for the storage and transport of freshly roasted beans.
